Semantic Web Services Week 2005

2nd WSMO Implementation Workshop (WIW)
Monday – Tuesday (6th – 7th June)

Web: http://www.wsmo.org/wiw/2005/

Information
In January 2004, a new Euopean initiative has started which attracted a lot of attention in the area of Semantic Desription of Web Services: The Web Service Modelling Ontology (WSMO). WSMO is an ontology which defines the basic elements of a Semantic Description of Web Services and aims at facilitating and simplifying the integration of applications and businesses to solve the integration problem. The joint working groups around this initative are developing a proper formal description language for Semantic Web Service (WSML) based on the WSMO conceptual model and the development of a reference implementation of the WSMO model (WSMX).

The 2nd WSMO Implementation Workshop (WIW 2005) aims at the presentation and discussion of different implementation efforts related to the Web Service Modelling Ontology (WSMO) initiatives, in order to gain insight of the problems related to implementation of WSMO. We highly welcome papers on related topics and demonstration of prototypes or deployed applications.
